🌿What is Hapé, and what should I expect?
Hapé is a sacred Amazonian tobacco plant medicine blended with medicinal herbs, traditionally used for centuries by indigenous tribes for cleansing, grounding, and spiritual alignment.
It is administered through the nose using a pipe called a kuripe or tepi.
Hapé can support:

Reiki & Sound Healing
Reiki is a gentle energy healing modality that promotes deep relaxation, emotional release, and inner harmony. Sound healing instruments will support this experience, guiding you into a meditative and restorative state.

To support your healing journey, please have a light breakfast before arriving. Avoid heavy meals to help your body integrate the experience more comfortably.
During the Hapé ceremony, some participants may experience a gentle purging process, which can include teary eyes, mild burning or tingling in the nose, increased saliva, and sometimes vomiting. These reactions are natural and part of the medicine’s cleansing effect.
*Water will be provided throughout the ceremony to keep you hydrated, and light snacks will be available afterward to help you gently ground and nourish your body.

- This ceremony is a holistic wellness experience and not a substitute for medical or psychological care. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, on medication, or have health conditions.
- Hapé is a sacred Amazonian tobacco-based medicine. It may cause temporary discomfort such as teary eyes, nasal burning, salivation, emotional release, and purging (including vomiting), all part of the clearing process.
- Photos or videos may be taken during the event. If you prefer not to be included, please let us know upon arrival.
- Please avoid alcohol or recreational substances before the ceremony.
- Participation is voluntary, and you take full responsibility for your experience by attending.

Where exactly is the event being held?
The gathering takes place in a private garage-turned-healing space in South Pasadena, CA. The exact address will be shared via email after purchase.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing: • A yoga mat or meditation cushion • A blanket or shawl (you’ll be lying down) • A water bottle • A journal (optional) • Comfortable clothes • An open heart and mind.
Is there parking available and free?
Yes, there is free street parking in the neighborhood. We suggest arriving a few minutes early to find a spot and settle in.
Can I attend if I’ve never done breathwork or Hapé before?
Absolutely. Beginners are welcome. We create a gentle, supportive environment and will guide you every step of the way.
Is Hapé psychoactive? Will I feel “high”?
Hapé is a sacred Amazonian tobacco medicine used for grounding, cleansing, and spiritual clarity. It is not psychoactive and will not make you feel “high.” Instead, most people feel centered, calm, and clear afterward.
What if I arrive late?
Doors open at 9:45 AM and we begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please do your best to arrive on time, late arrivals can disrupt the energy of the group.
Is this space accessible?
The garage space is ground level with a wide entrance. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out ahead of time and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
What’s your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can’t make it, you may gift your ticket to a friend, just let us know 24 hours in advance.
Will there be more events like this?

What if I can’t receive Hapé (e.g., allergies or nasal conditions)?
You don’t need to receive Hapé physically to benefit from its healing. The energy of the medicine, sound activation, and Reiki will still support your process. Please let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure you feel included, supported, and held throughout the ceremony.
